Mata ki Chowki will take you on a journey that will reveal many true faces of our modern society. A society that doesn’t fear God, and atrocities and unfairness are in abundance. But then there are people like Vaishnavi, a great devotee of Mata Vaishno Devi, is out there in our society to make a difference.
Mata ki Chowki is a story of a girl called Vaishnavi, an adopted child of Pandit Vidyasagar and his wife Shraddha. After two years, her mother, Shraddha, dies giving birth to her own child Sunakshi.
From the early age of six, Vaishnavi develops immense interest and faith in “Ma Vaishno Devi”. She starts showing signs of being a super-normal child. She preaches about Mata, sings Jagrata, motivates people to follow Mata and rescues people from pain and misery.
The story takes a twist when her sister, Sunakshi runs away with her lover at the time of her marriage with Vansh. And this ends up Vaishnavi marrying Vansh and throwing herself into an unfamiliar world. Here, Vaishnavi meets Sheel Kumar (father-in-law), the evil force who takes advantage of her devotion towards Mata Viashno Devi and her ability to motivate people through her preaching.
Vaishnavi sees herself in a world wherein the seven deadly sins lust, gluttony, greed, sloth, wrath, envy, and pride have cluttered humans to look for short cuts to power, wealth and success following non-moralistic ways. As a great devotee of Mata Vaishno Devi, would Vaishnavi be able to help people to show the right path in this ‘nowhere’ going era of Kalyug? Or will she be just a puppet in the hands of evils of the modern society?

it is my humble request in your kind honour that i am regularly viewer of ur serial mata ki chowki with my whole family. that doesnot mean that i am regular viewer of all serial telecated on all chanel.
resion to view this serial is that i am hardcore folower of maa thats why i see this serial
But sir i have complaint regarding your serial specially tital numbering of casting, complaint is that when you write SHANTI PRIYA AS MAA VAISHNOV DEVI and after that you write ABOVE ALL SUDESH BERI which is very wrong .
what you want to tell in this style of numbering that sudesh beri is above than maa vaishno devi .
sir this serial is an relligius faith based serial and no body on this earth is above the maa vaishno devi plz change the nubering style plz write SUDESH BERI AS SHEEL KUMAR AND ABOVE ALL SHANTI PRIYA AS MAA VAISHNO DEVI

does sahara one consider ur suggestions . if our suggestions r heard then u can just consider them if they r helpful or just ignore them there no id which can get us some respone .Mata ki chowki is getting spoilt.It is not as good as it was.just consider the july episodes
mata ki chowki is now a days being so boring serial no roll of vaishnavi just crying and helpless goddess shows that do not trust god now.... she ll just help devils not the devoters so we are happy to see ganesh leela good compititor...mata ki chowki's grade going down try to improve it plssss
Dear Makers of Mata Ki Chowki,
What started as a beautiful serial has turned out to be a great insult to devotees of Maa Vaishno Devi. Just to keep the episodes going, you have now introduced a demon called Neerti and stretching the story like a rubber and viewers are tired of your stupid unimaginative storyline. I searched Google and nowhere do we find anybody like that in Mythology. Right on the Dashami day of 2008, if you had killed Sheel Kumar at the hands of Vaishnavi, it would have been a great and befitting end leaving good impressions of your serial. At least you could have ended it on Dashami day of 2009 but you have no brains - therefore you are still continuing. To show Maataji weak and losing at the hands of this stupid Neerti, you will all pay a heavy penalty in your lives. We hate seeing Sheel's (Sudesh Berry's face) face on the screen. Hope you will end the serial on 17th Oct 2010 (Vijaya Dashami Day of this year's Navarathri)

What started as a great serial on Mata Vaishno Devi is now languishing as a very ordinary and trite portrayal of the Shakti of the Ultimate.
Your serial not only defies logic but even mythological events ought to have some respect for time and sequence of events.
A great serial is made not by prologing the serial in the fond hope of gaining and keeping TRP ratings.
Please also learn to end serials with dignity and move on to the next.
I am a great fan of Sahara One and am disappointed the way serials are being dragged on.

it is true that the serial is now a days a bit boring ,but we love 2 see your serial a lot.today we did see that your serial will be ending on the 11th nov 2010 .So it is a kind request to give a repeat of the whole serial from the begning ... it would be wondeful if it is aired during the night coz... school goers can see then..
or else u'll can start a new series of mata rani as soon as possible... as ur series teaches us a lot on mythology
